5/6/2020 (Permalink)
Leaky roofs, burst pipes, floods and other sources may cause water damage problems in your home. Having even the slightest bit of water damage can lead to countless repairs that you’ll have to deal with in the future. Check out today’s water damage tip to help you in the long run!
Remove Move Furniture, Rugs, and Smaller Items
Lift your furniture by placing it on blocks and move any affected furniture out of the way, if possible. Putting your furniture on blocks will help the base of the pieces to dry. Also, don’t forget to open all doors and drawers on the furniture so the inside of it will dry out as well. Removing it from the area will keep the water remediation company from having to do it, possibly saving you money as well.
We at SERVPRO of East Greenville have a qualified team ready to serve you. If you have any questions, give our location a call and someone will be ready to help you!
